Tour Edition PT Spinning reels were completely redisigned for 2009. The biggest improvement comes in the weight of the reel. The TE20PTiB weighs only 10.5oz, and has a line capacity of 140 yards of 6lb. monofilament. The weight reduction comes in improvements to the reel body, the line management system and rotor design. Also improved from earlier generations is the TiMAG titanium bail with magnetic trip and LMS (Line Managagement System). The bail system continues to be guaranteed for the life of the reel. The Tour Edition spinning reels contain 12 ultra-smooth, polymer stainless bearings and extra-hard Performance Tuned gears. This reel is finished off with a scratch resistant titanium vacuum deposition and a very light weight titanium crank handle.
