It incorporates Shimano's innovative, line twist reducing Propulsion Line Management System, which has been improved for the Sahara series with a spool lip designed to prevent backlashes and wind knots from forming. The line also flows off the spool in smaller loops, meaning less line slap on the stripper guide, and thus providing longer casting distance due to less friction.
The Propulsion system also includes a twist-reducing Power Roller III line roller, Shimano's S-Guard to prevent impact damage to the frame and rotor, S-Arm Cam to prevent line slack around the line roller, and Slow Oscillation that puts line on the spool so the upper layer does not grab the lower layer to cause friction.
